Prista Charuworn

Dr. Prista Charuworn is a physician-scientist and biopharmaceutical executive with more than 15 years of global leadership experience spanning clinical development, medical affairs, and strategic portfolio management. Prior to joining the company as Chief Medical Officer, she served as Vice President and Global Head of Neuroscience and Immunology at Zai Lab, where she led global clinical development, biometrics, clinical pharmacology, and medical writing across multiple innovative programs. She previously held senior leadership positions at Amgen, Acerta Pharma (AstraZeneca), and Gilead Sciences. Dr. Charuworn earned a B.S. in Biology from the California Institute of Technology, an M.D. from the University of California, Irvine, and completed her internal medicine residency and fellowship trainings in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at Stanford University Medical Center.
